At Penn Club on 2nd, we are honoring Conshohocken’s roots and a favorite American past time in a new way! Penn Club on 2nd is brought to you by lifelong Conshohocken residents, tracing their roots on Forrest Street back to 1870. Before its most recent life as an autobody shop (built in 1955) and apartments, this property housed the original Penn Club, a social club founded for the businessmen of Conshohocken in 1889.
When thinking of what new life this location should take on the family looked to the past again for inspiration and found that, around the same time the club was originally founded, Conshohocken had its own golf course just down the street. While we cannot bring back the greens of this long-forgotten course, we can bring back the experience for all to enjoy.
